A Game of Thrones

So A Game of Thrones has ended for the season, and let me be the first to say that I so cannot wait for the second season. Yes, I did in deed go out and purchase the first book of the series :A Song of Fire and Ice, and so far what I have read is right on point with the show. I just know that I am not going to be happy to read about Ned Stark, Sean is such a great actor that he made me (and I am sure other fans as well) believe in the character and want him to survive. I have my predictions about what I think might happen to Joffery and company, but I guess I will have to continue to read so I can be like everyone else. But lets get to the review, I must say that this show started strong right from the gate the very first episode. The growth of the characters and the identity that each claimed. Robert and his foolish ways, and the queen and her unholy relationship with her brother. Bran and what he witnessed (I am hoping that someday he remembers what he say), Jon and the love he has for his father and his brothers and sister. I just felt that Lady Stark was to hard on the young man it was Ned and his mother that brought him into the world. So much was going on and so much planning by so many people to get ahead and achieve their own goals with no regard for others. Now,  I was shocked to see Ned loose his head, before the season was over. I was crossing my fingers as I was watching to see if maybe someone would save him. But that did not happen, it was sad that his daughters were there for his beheading. Moving forward I was pretty surprise to see Arya be taken to the wall of the nights watch, but I am sure that she will not meet up with Jon (again I have to keep reading before I can say anything). I am sure it wouldn't be that easy, poor Sansa having to stay behind and endure Joffery and his craziness but as I said I am sure that he is going to get his just in due time. Over all the show was a success, the imaginary, the casting was a perfect fit, and the display and the costumes all on point. Two thumbs way up for hbo and company.

Law and Order: Los Angeles

We the fans tried out hardest to save LOLA... This was a show created by Dick Wolf and the show lived up to all its potential (at least I thought). We tried everything to emailing Greenblatt and all parties involved trying to see if we could save this show, and to no avail. The series finale episode was true to form, Alfred Molina and company were at the top of their game. I am sure if this particular series was given a second season it would have had the following as its sister show LOSVU. The revamping of the show after the break due to low ratings had the fans (such as my self) posting and tweeting up a storm on how it worked and was a success. But nbc and company put the show to rest, when the ratings did not aim higher after the revamp. Thus the episodes that followed did not correlate, but one thing us fans can be glad about is that the entire series will be on dvd. I believe that it will be available in September, but please stay tuned I will have up dates available and I will always post on my twitter page any recent up dates.

Creator: Dick Wolf
Cast: Cory Stroll, Rachel Ticotin & Alfred Molina
Running time: 60 minutes

Sorry fans, it was all a rumor... LOLA was not renewed and/or picked up by TNT... I got the up date from Dick Wolf himself... To bad, the series was one of the best and the redo make the show even better...

XII: The Series

XII: The Series picks up where the movie XII: The Conspiracy staring Stephen Dorff left off. The show introduces XII with a new face thus Stuart Townsend (by the way I think is a perfect casting call). Through out the entire show, he is trying to find out who he is and what happened to him that he lost 5yrs, and not knowing who to trust is a hardship that he carries. As the show progress we feel that he has find a person he can trust in agent Jones, but as the last 2 minutes of the season finale air. Jones appears to be not the person XII thought that she was, and President Carrington is innocent at all. The 13 episode series has left so many unanswered questions that (we) the fans are left wondering will XII die from his gun shot wound and why did his vest fail etc...??? I am hoping that there is a second season (no word yet), love to see XII get his revenge as he continues his search for his true identity. Two thumbs way up for showcase, the casting and storyline, action sequences all mesh well together.

Director: Duane Clark & Alain Tasma
Cast: Stuart Townsend, Aisha Tyler & Virginie Ledoyen
Running time: 45 minutes

XII: The Series follows a man who has lost his memory and through his journey of trying to find out who he is, he encounters mystery after mystery. Not only does he encounter these mysteries he also encounters danger along the way and his questions tend to lead to more questions then answers. With no memory and no one he can truly trust the only thing that holds true is the tattoo that bears his name XII.
