The Dark Night Rises
I know that it is way to early to give a review and/or speculate about what might happen in The Dark Night Rises. What can I say, only I cannot wait till this movie comes out... Chris Nolan can do no wrong, it is hard to wait and it is so hard to say goodbye... I cannot believe this is the last batman film that Nolan is doing, but I am confident that this last film will be better than the first two (not that the first two were not good, both films were top notch). I am just wondering as to how it will all end... I mean for those who have read the comic, know that Bane breaks Bruce's back i.e. Batman and it is Batman's apprentice Jean-Paul Valley that defeats Bane. However, Jean-Paul cannot control the power and thus becomes crazy. Bruce then regains the use of his legs via other means, and he then has a rematch with Bane and defeats him. I am very interested in seeing how this will all play out. There are a few trailer's out there now, one states that before the Dark Night rises he is broken, then another states that the Dark Night will have an epic conclusion. So yes, my interest is very much peak, but with Nolan his work is on point always. I am sure that we may not be happy with ending, reference Inception we are left to our own conclusion if Cobb did in fact return home to his children or was left in an alternate reality. But I am saving out hope that yes the final film with have an epic battle, but Bruce will come out on top. We are just going to have to wait till summer 2012 to see the film. I know that is going to be the shit and Harry Potter will have nothing on it.
